Delmas "Bud" Eugene Caldwelll

Delmas “Bud” Eugene Caldwell, 75, of Roanoke County went to be with his lord on August 3, 2024, after a short illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Maude Hazel Hughes Caldwell and Denny Roscoe Caldwell; and sister, Janet Caldwell Rhoden Baysden.

Delmas worked as a mechanic for over 41 years. He loved being outdoors and helping others when they needed him. He was very giving and was a devoted family man. He was an avid Virginia Tech football fan and enjoyed watching the games with his wife.

Those left here on earth to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Grace C Caldwell; daughter, Tammy J Dollman (Robert); honorary son, Richard Turman (Chelsea); sisters, Donna Palmer, Linda Bandy (Lake), Wanda Caldwell; grandchildren, Eugene Lane, Blake Lane, Madyson Dollman, Robert Dollman III, Ryan Dollman, Robert Turman, and Haley Turman; three best friends, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Delmas will be held at a later date that will be determined by the family. Please contact the family directly for details. The family would like to thank Lewis Gale Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospice.
