Delois Waller

Delois Waller, 83, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024. She was born December 13, 1940, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Everette L. Eggleston and Priscilla Eggleston.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Waller; son, Steven Eggleston; sister, Mabel Mae Eggleston; and grandson, Lilneal Waller, Jr.Delois was a devoted member of Morning Star Holiness Church and a dedicated seamstress at Hamp-Co for more than twenty-five years. She loved flowers, being on her iPad and cooking in her free time. Most Importantly, Delois loved spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by daughter, Elvea Waller; son, Nealious Waller; sisters, Juanita E. Deering, and Belvra A. Eggleston; sister-in-law, Margaret Eggleston; and one grandchild, Dominique Waller (Dollbaby).The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at Morning Star Holiness Church with Reverend Tyler Millner officiating. Burial will follow at Eggleston Family Cemetery at 1973 Stoney Mountain Road, Martinsville, Virginia 24112. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. A floating Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
