Delores Clark

Delores Ann Clark, 83, of Silver Spring, Maryland transitioned on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Fox Chase Healthcare in Silver Spring.

She was born April 9, 1941 in Martinsville, VA a daughter of the late Lucy Bell Clark.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Dennis (Son) Hairston and one brother, Edward Clark and one niece, Deloris Stultz.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Juaneca Harris, of Hyattsville, MD; two sons, Samuel Harris, of Baltimore, MD; and John Harris, of Washington, DC; one brother Michael (Jeana) Hairston, of Martinsville, VA; her life partner, Charles Gowdy, of Silver Spring, MD, two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM and Hines Funeral Services Chapel.  The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the funeral.
