Dennis Jones

Dennis Jones, Sr., of Moneta, went to be with the Lord October 26, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifton C Jones Sr. and Annie Painter Jones; wife, Ella Kidd Jones, brothers; Gratin A, Jones, Tracy Jones, Clifton C. Jones Jr. ; sisters, Ruby Farley and Mildred Nichols. He was a Christian and worked as a masonry contractor, self-employed for 50 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army and loved his family very much.He is survived by his children, Dennis (Denny) Jones, Jr. of Charleston, WV., Kimberly and Ronnie Morgan of Goodview, Steven and Kelly Jones of Vinton; grandchildren, Joshua and Lakota Jones, Britany (Nathan) Kline, Whitney (Zac) Crowgey, Jacob and Taylor Morgan; great grandchildren, Jayla Jones, Maddie Klein, Kinsley Klein, Ella Crowgey and Beau Crowgey; sister, Rachel J. Anderson.Special thanks to Linda for all the love and care over the past several years.There will be a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton with Pastor Mark Harvey officiating.
