Diane Marie Pawlowski
Diane Marie Pawlowski, age 80, of Blacksburg, went home to be with Jesus on May 26, 2025, while holding the hand of her beloved husband Stan. Diane was born in Racine, Wisconsin on October 26,1944 to the late Frank and Antoinette Malko. Diane met her husband and best friend while working at Mamco in Racine, Wisconsin. Stan would wait to meet her at the time clock every day to just say “hi” until he finally found the courage to pick Diane up in his 1957 Pontiac one day after work. They were united in marriage on February 22, 1966. He was the love of her life for 60 years. Diane was lovingly devoted to her family and sharing the truth and love of Jesus. She was always encouraging and an inspiration to everyone she met. Diane was always joyful, even in her suffering as the Lord gave her strength. She trusted in His goodness and grace, never faltering, and remained steadfast in her faith. Diane is survived by her husband, Stan Pawlowski and their children, Tammy (Ken) Davis, Theresa Leipzig, Stan (Jennifer) Pawlowski; grandchildren, Alesia (Michael) Nelson, Tyler Davis, Brayden Davis, Josiah Pawlowski, Abigail Pawlowski; great-grandchildren, Aspyn Rose Nelson and Michael Nelson; sisters, Connie (Jim) Peasley, Debbie (Dale) Stich; brother, Dan (Joyce) Malko; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and more friends than can be mentioned. A special thank you to Diane’s niece, Denyce Stich, for getting her mom to Diane’s 80th birthday party. This was one of the greatest highlights of Diane’s life. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Antoinette Malko; brothers, Richard, Frank III and Bill Malko; sisters, Marlene Wierzinski, Barb Malsack, Sandra Fischer, and Patricia Chizek. Diane wanted to share her favorite Bible verse: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Diane never said, “good-bye;” she said, “see ya.” She would tell everyone, “I’m good!” Diane requested that no funeral services be held. A private gathering will be held at a later date with immediate family to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please direct any memorial donations in honor of Diane to Daily Bread Ministries, PO Box 2222, Grand Rapids, MI 49501-2222 or you may donate by calling 616-974-2210. This was Diane’s favorite daily devotional.
