Dollie M. Williams, 86, of Bassett, Va., entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was born in Henry County, Va., to the late Willie Mize, Sr., and Minnie S. Mize.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nannie Spencer, Josephine Gann, and Vinnie Spencer, and brothers, Elbert Mize, Ralph Mize, and Willie Mize, Jr.       

Dollie is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Martha) Meadows, and Darryl Meadows; grandchildren Timothy (Jennifer) Meadows, Jr., and Ruth (Cody) Kestner; great-grandchildren Katelyn, Benjamin, and Ariah Meadows, and Haley Kestner; and her sister, Judy (Butch) Viars. Dollie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 9:30am to 10:00 am at Shady Rest Cemetery where a graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10am with Reverend Carson Williams presiding.
