Dolly Jane Dean

May 17, 1928 - June 23, 2025

Dolly Jane Bolling Dean, 97, of Roanoke, went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, June 23, 2025. She

was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darrell F. Dean Sr.; siblings, Annette, Vernoy, Keys, Gordie,

Peggy, Betty, Jack, Tom, and Evelyn; and daughter-in-law, Judith Dean.

Dolly was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church of Radford, VA.

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Lynda Mabrey (Terry); son, Michael Dean; stepson, Darrell Freddie Dean Jr;

grandchildren, Joshua Logan Mabrey (Valerie), Martha Hemingway (Jon), Tommy Dean, and Jeffrey Dean;

great grandchildren including Gareth Mabrey, Gavin Mabrey, Hudson Sparks, Lorelai Sparks, Cohen

Hemingway, and Audrey Hemingway; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will have a Visitation on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160

Peters Creek Rd. Roanoke, VA 24019. A Graveside Service will be held the next day on Saturday, June 28, 2025

at 12 noon at Highland Memory Gardens, 5555 Lee Highway, Dublin, VA 24084.
