Don Hagy

Don Hagy, 86, of Bassett passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in McDowell Co, West Virginia on September 3, 1936, the son of the late John Hagy and the late Thelma Cline Hagy. Don was also preceded in death by a daughter Donna L. Hagy, son Bobby Hagy and brother Leland Hagy.  He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church and retired with 53 years of service to Bassett Furniture.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Garnet B. Hagy, daughter; Rebecca Hagy (Julie Evans), two grandchildren; Reese Hagy (Hannah Hagy) and Amanda Hagy, sister; Ruth Coleman (Rodney) daughter in - law, Julie Hagy.
The visitation will be Thursday, December 8 from 12 -1PM in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with funeral services to follow at 1 in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with Dr. David Towler officiating.  A burial will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.
