Donald Clay Boaz

Donald Clay Boaz, 74, of Atlantic Beach, NC passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on January 21, 1952, in Henry County, VA to the late Ada Mae Cox Boaz and Richard Woodrow Boaz.

Mr. Boaz loved serving others. He enjoyed cooking for them, fishing, racing, watching football and tending to flowers. He rarely accepted anything in return, as everything he did came straight from his heart. Above all, he loved his family deeply and was a true family man. He was especially gifted at playing the piano and found great joy in sharing that gift, by teaching his grandchildren how to play and creating lasting memories through music.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Lynn Boaz; sister, Kay Boaz; children, Gary Boaz, Brandon Boaz, Meredith Boaz Wilson, and Victoria Boaz; step-sons, Dean Bailey and Dwight Bailey; grandchildren, Brendon Boaz, Brett Boaz, Marianna Boaz, Samantha Boaz, Chase Wilson, Taylor Nelson, Kellie Boaz, Ruth Boaz, Daniel Bailey, Dylan Bailey, David Bailey, Derrick Bailey, Gregory Bailey and Thomas Bailey. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Ariana Bailey, Ivory Nelson, Beau Nelson, Claire Bailey, and Madelyn Kay Bailey; niece, Jennifer Hillstand (Shane); and nephew, Jason Jones (Hannah).

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Services, with Pastor David Deisher officiating. Burial will be held at Roselawn Burial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
