Donald Leon Henderson

Donald Leon Henderson, 69, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence. He was born January 22, 1954, in Gaffney, South Carolina, to the late Lee Russell Henderson and Velma Marie Littlejohn Hemphill.He graduated from college with an Associate’s Degree, and had been employed as a private contractor in the telephone industry for over 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and camping.Donald is survived by his wife, Vickie Turner; son, Caden Lee Henderson; daughter, Kirsten Marie Turner Henderson; sister, Charemon Brooks; uncle, Robert L. Littlejohn; aunts, Nannie Ann Williams and Jeanette Littlejohn; and nephew, Marcus T. Billingslea II.The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
