Donald W. Burgess

Donald W. Burgess, 75, passed away on November 23, 2025.

He was born in West Virginia on October 21, 1950 to Ben and Betty Burgess, both deceased. Donald was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan; and his son, Jason. During his professional career he worked as a Government Civilian with the Department of the Navy, Federal Labor Relations Authority, Veterans Administration and was Vice President of Valley Bank. He was involved with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Friends of the Botetourt Library. Donald enjoyed photography, puzzles, and tennis.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Paula; son, Kevin; daughter in law, Melissa; granddaughter, Cierra; great granddaughter, Harley; sister, Jonalee; brother in law, Charlie; and many nieces and nephews.
