Donna Peck Abrams

Donna Lu Peck Abrams, 67, of Wirtz, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Donna, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, loved her home and family more than anything and went out of her way to spread love every day. She had an adventurous spirit and believed in living life to the fullest. Donna remained outspoken on women’s rights. She graduated summa cum laude from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. 

Surviving are Donna’s devoted husband of 51 years, Dave Abrams; their daughter, Deanna Abrams Stephens (Barry); her grandsons, Finley and Ramsay Stephens; her brothers, Michael Peck (Yvonne) and Rodney Jackson (Tom); and her dog, Lily.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Emma and Arthur Peck; parents, Douglas Jackson and Lucille Nadeau Jackson; and brother, Dennis Peck.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Smith Mountain Lake YMCA on Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Smith Mountain Lake YMCA.
