Dora Lee Dean Hall

DORA LEE DEAN HALL, 78, of Bland, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born January 29, 1947 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Graham, Sr. & Maude Dean.

Dora was a devout Christian who loved going to church. She attended the Old Landmark Church. She loved gospel music.

She was fiercely independent and liked to take care of everything on her own.  She was outgoing, loving and thought of everyone else before herself. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Graham R., Sr. & Maude Allison Brady Dean, her husband, Jack Paul Hall, her brothers, Graham R. Dean, Jr., Leonard Edward Dean and Michael Thomas Dean, her sisters, Mary Gail Crowder and Connie Lou Davis and her sister-in-law, Verna Davis.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & David Miller; her beloved granddaughter, Addyson L. Miller; her brother, Nathan Walter Dean; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Dean; special niece and nephew, Susan and Jimmy Willard and Barry Dean and special friend, Alma Warden.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Bro. John Thornsberry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M. Per her wishes, Dora will be cremated following the services.
