Dorcas Roller

Dorcas Via Roller, of Cheyenne, died on April 7, 2024 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She was born on August 8, 1932 to William Craig Via and Nina Marie Via, in Sweet Chalybeate, Virginia at the Carter family home. Her twin brother died in childbirth.
Dorcas was raised in Covington, Virginia, and graduated college with a degree in elementary education from Fairfax Hall Junior College and Radford University.
She married Edgar Walton Roller in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her two children, Ann Segrave (Thomas) of Cheyenne, and William Roller (Kelly) of St. Louis, Missouri; and the proud grandparent of Stephen Roller, Lindsey Roller, James Segrave, Austin Segrave, Taylor Segrave and Kacie Roller.
Dorcas filled every room with laughter and conversation. She will be missed.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Warren officiating.
A committal service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Carter Cemetery, Snake Run Road, Covington, VA 24426
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Calvary Christian Church Memorial Fund 1329 S. Pond Ave. Covington, VA 24426.
