Doris Rosalee Dunn Dillow

DORIS ROSALEE DUNN DILLOW, 90, of Bastian, VA, went home to be with the Lord she most faithfully served on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

She was born to Robert and Camellia Byrd Dunn on a windy autumn day in Bastian, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Nora Kidd, Edith Brizendine, and Sarah Carter, her brothers Earl, Keith, and Warren Dunn, and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Repass (Doug), her granddaughter Rebekah Howells (Gregory), her grandsons Kevin Repass (Jerica) and William Repass (Krista), and her four great-granddaughters Alexis, Raelyn, Amaia, and Laree. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

Doris loved her church, her many flowerbeds, and making music. She loved her community, and taught hundreds of people to play the piano over the course of her life. She loved God most of all.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the Bastian Church of God, with Pastor Cliff Bowman and Dr. Harold Bare officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 P.M until service time at 7:00 P.M.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Carter Family Cemetery in Bastian.
