Dorothy Cole Pritchett

Dorothy Cole Pritchett, age 78 of Chatham, VA. passed Friday, November 17, 2023 at her residence. Ms. Pritchett was born June 13, 1945 to the late Nora Ward Cole and the late Boyd Cole.

She was a member of Spring Garden Community Church and was a retired secretary in the carpet industry. She will always be remembered as a kindhearted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen H. Gough (Dean); one son, Jeffrey Hill; five grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, Ashleigh, Sabrina (Shane), and Austin (Hannah); five great-grandchildren, Bryson, Maleigha, Sophia, Sawyer, and Carson; one sister, Virginia Rosser; and one brother, Franklin Cole (Jeanna).

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Johnnie Pritchett.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Spring Garden Community Church with Pastor Clark Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
