Douglas Garnett Puckett

Douglas Garnett Puckett, 81, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. He was born August 31, 1942, in Maryland to the late Garnett L. Puckett and Mildred Puckett.Douglas was dedicated to the United States Airforce. He was a truck driver for MXI for 36 years traveling all over the country. He loved his family and his dogs, as well as spending time at the beach.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mable Belcher Puckett; sons, James McPeak (Sharon), Steven McPeak (Joanie), Tracy McPeak (Regina), Ernest McPeak (Sherry), and Billy Puckett (Stephanie); sisters, Darlene Scott and Gail Thomas; 14 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.All services will be private.
