Douglas Leeander Holland

Douglas Leeander Holland, 60, of Boones Mill, gained his Angel wings on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 5:38am, surrounded by his loving wife, sister, all his children, and his grandchildren. Doug fought a long and hard battle with his cancer, COPD, Kidney disease, and his congestive heart failure. When Doug was not working in his spare time his favorite thing to do was spend time with his wife, sister, all his children and grandchildren, fish, and talk about his Monte Carlo and all the old cars he loved.  Doug has always been proud of and loved his huge family. Doug is survived by his wife, Lori of 27 years, his three Daughters, Alicia Dudley, Michelle Philpott and Tracey Cockran (Husband KC ). His 6 sons, Scottie Holland (Wife Sierra) , Chris Holland, Michael Holland, Joshua Holland (wife Briana), Andy Dillon, and Brian Dillon. His Sister Susan Bilby (Husband Dennis). His Grandchildren, Natalie, Julian, Ethan, Makaylah, Connor, Lucas, Grayson, Colton, AnnaBelle, Gage, Lacey, Brianna, and Constance. Nephews, Mike Hall and Niece Frances Smith ,Niece Sara Weaver, and other numerous nieces and nephews. Mother in law Brenda snider and Father in law Donald Snider,  Special Great Niece Addie, and long time special friend Cindy Elliott. Doug is preceded in death by his Father Frank Howard Holland, mother, Ruby Marie Porter Holland, Brother Donald Holland, Sister Carol Hall, and numerous other brothers and Sisters. His Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home on Franklin Road from 5pm to 7pm. Friday, February 2, 2024 his services will be at Lotz Funeral Home at 2pm, followed by his burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
