Douglas Wayne Johnson

Douglas Wayne Johnson, 69, of Daleville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was preceded by his grandmother, Westena Johnson; mother, Hattie Louise Johnson and a son, Douglas W. Johnson.

Surviving is his wife Olive M. Johnson (Tracey); brother, Deforrest William (Bobbie), sisters, Tena Williams, Cathy Clarke, Teresa Kelley (Tim), and Brenda Britian; sons, Courtney Toliver and Curtis Johnson (Brandy), daughters, Jackie and Johanna Minnis, and Christa Johnson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and two special cousins, Sandra Bently and Louis Dean.

A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Bishop Roscoe Richie. The repast meal will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Troutville Town Hall 5419 Lee Highway Troutville, VA Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 540 366 0707
