Dreama Cox Lyles
On July 28, 2025 God called our sweet angel back home. Dreama Ballard Lyles 52 of Roanoke walked into the arms of Jesus after a long courageous battle that she faced with grace until the end.
Dreama was a selfless, caring and kind person to everyone she came in contact with. Her love of others and animals were apparent in the way she lived everyday. She would give to anyone in need, pray for you endlessly and make you feel like you were the most important person in the world.
Even though her heart was failing it never stopped her from loving her tribe fiercely and protecting anyone or anything from the woes of the world
Dreama truly was our angel on earth and the void she has left in everyone’s life that knew and loved her is immense. She shared her love of Jesus with all and he used her as his vessel until the very end and she walked in her faith steadfastly and would comfort others over herself daily.
Dreama was preceded in death by her grandparents James W. and Reva Abshire, Charles Henry and Virginia Cox and her biological father, William Cox and her brother little Bill.
Left to cherish her memory include her soul mate and love of her life, husband Mike Lyles, parents Ronald and Bonnie Ballard, brothers Ronnie Ballard, Brian Ballard (Christine) sisters, Tammy Cawley, Karen Hawley and Stacy Cox
Her circle of lifelong friends Rachel Saunders Davis, Traci Agee and cousin/sister Lisa Liles and her sweet Deeks will also miss her forever.
The family would like to thank her Good Samaritan Hospice team Erin, Clara and Bette for their wonderful and compassionate care of Dreama.
Also Mike would like to share his heartfelt thanks to Sierra Bailey, Kayla Holland and Lisa Liles and countless others for walking with him and helping him through this journey of love.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to your charity of choice or the Franklin County Humane Society and American Heart Association to honor Dreama’s memory.
We are so grateful we got the honor of loving Dreama and sharing her with the world because it was better with her in it
Well done good and faithful servant
