Drewey "Eugene" Scott

Mr. Drewey “Eugene” Scott, age 90 of Brookhaven, Georgia passed away peacefully at his home on March 5, 2026. He was born in Meadows of Dan, Virginia on April 14, 1935, to the late Samuel Toney Scott and Dora Goad Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all 6 of his siblings, Elzie Scott, Howard Scott, Akers Scott, Andy Scott, Mettie Scott Puplin, and twin sister, Magdaline Scott Williams. Eugene was a graduate of Meadows of Dan High School. He faithfully served in the United States Air Force as an administrative clerk for 8 years and was a loyal employee of Lively Plumbing and Heating for 43 years as an accountant. He will be remembered as a gentle, humble soul who loved his family.Left to cherish the memories of Eugene are his caretaker and best friend, Beth Chewning of the home; loving friends, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Sr., Juan Carlos Hernandez, Jr., Esperanza Hernandez, Alexandra Rivera, Israel Hernandez, Miguel Hernandez; a niece, Darlene Scott Hylton of Meadows of Dan; two nephews, Thomas Scott of Meadows of Dan, and Friel Akers Scott, Jr., of Camden, SC; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.All services for Mr. Scott will be private.
