Dulane retired after over 30 years of service as a Medical Coding and Insurance Billing Specialist at theoffice of Dr. Matthew Skewes in Dublin, Virginia. She was very proud of her work and the opportunity toshare the love of God and build lasting relationships during her years of dedicated service, not only withthe medical staff, but with the patients and their families.

Dulane came to know Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior during a tent revival at the age of 30. Fromthat time, she grew in her faith and knew with certainty that there was no one else in this world whocould teach, guide and comfort her through this life. Her constant desire was to live a life pleasing tothe Lord and to show His love to others. She felt this desire so strongly that she was led to participate ina mission trip to Haiti and returned with a greater understanding of trusting the Lord and His provision. She continued to share her passion for serving the Lord with her church family, at the Little CreekChurch of the Living God, as a faithful and devoted member for many years.

That same love that she had for the Lord poured over to her family and friends. She joyfully spent timewith each of them whether corporately or individually, and took great care that none felt as if they werealone in this life, always encouraging them that Jesus was there for them as He was for her. Her spiritualgifts were those of faith, prayer, intercession, and encouragement. She laughed with those wholaughed and grieved with those who grieved, and prayed for everyone she knew. Her laughter wascontagious and she could uplift someone in a moment. In her 77 years, there were many challenges andtrials, but she weathered them in faith and endured as a good soldier, trusting the Lord that He wouldnever fail her, and that He would never leave her nor forsake her.

Dulane would say today with joy the words spoken in 2 Timothy 4:6-5 “For I am already being pouredout as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I havefinished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the Righteous Judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to allthose who have loved his appearing.” Her family knows she would love to see you there.
