Dustin Grey West

Dustin Grey West, 34, of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born December 7, 1989, in Patrick County, to Scott Dee West and Kimberly Michelle Hancock West.Dustin attended Faith Fellowship Church and was a graduate of Patrick County High School, Class of 2008. He studied autobody and became certified from Danville Community College. Dustin enjoyed attending live NASCAR races and his favorite driver was Brad Keselowski. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gaming. His most treasured activities were watching Alaina play basketball, building Legos with Kaylin, and playing superheroes with Spider Man, aka Connor. He was always lending a helping hand and willing to help anyone in need.He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Ashley Lane McBride West; daughters, Alaina MacKenzie McBride West, Kaylin MaKenna West; son, Connor Grey West; paternal grandparents, Dee West, and Vickie West; maternal grandparents, Frankie Hancock and Krickett Hancock; great grandparents, Thedford Spencer and Nannie Ruth Spencer; aunt, Jennifer West Jones (Jesse); uncle, Chad Hancock; and numerous cousins, family, and friends.The funeral will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at County Line Church of God of Prophecy, 2900 County Line Road, Patrick Springs, Virginia 24133, with Pastor Fredrick “Freddie” Bonds officiating and Eulogist, Pastor Jason Callahan. Burial will follow at the County Line Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
