Earl Dwight Lovell

Earl Dwight Lovell, 76 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life May 16, 2025 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Virginia on June 10, 1948, he was a son of Earl Milton Lovell and Evelyn Simms.

Earl loved doing his big gardens, he was known as the garden man! He did construction for many years. Earl served some of his time in the United States Navy. PawPaw as we all called him loved spending his last moments with the people he loves most.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Milton Lovell and Evelyn Simms; and his son, Stacy Lovell.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandra Lovell, daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Conley, Melinda Huffman; son Scotty (Vicki) Blankenship; step-children, Lisa, David, McKenna, Joe, Michelle Powell. Earl had many grandkids and great-grandkids, but he cherished his “little buddy”, Hunter Combs the most, as Hunter would wake up PawPaw every morning with a, “PawPaw it’s coffee time wake up”.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Higgs officiating.
