Earl Stephen Hutcherson

Earl Stephen Hutcherson, 63, of Virginia, passed away on June 6, 2025. He was born on November 18, 1961, in Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl T. Hutcherson, as well as his grandparents, Nettie and Paul McNeil, and Ludie and Doug Hutcherson.

Earl is survived by his mother, Margaret O’Neil, and his stepfather, Glen O’Neil. He is also survived by his brother, Mike Hutcherson and wife Jamie; his sister, Tricia Hannah; and his stepsister, Kimberly Simeroth. Earl is also survived by his niece, Jessica Hannah(Josh Damiano) and nephews, Zach Hannah, Ryan Simeroth, Tyler McFarland, and Wyatt Anderson. He leaves behind two great-nephews, Landen and Hayden Damiano, along with his longtime friend, Buddy Powell.

Earl attended Northside High School, where he played football and wrestled. He had a strong, outgoing personality that drew people to him. He made friends easily and was always up for an adventure.

In his younger years, Earl loved trout fishing and camping. He found peace in the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature.

A visitation will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow.
