Earl William Dillon

Earl William Dillon, age 82, of Spruce Run passed away, Saturday June 22, 2024, at his home. He was born in Spruce Run, VA on May 23, 1942, to the late King William and Kathleen Smith Dillon. He was also preceded in death by his brother John Dillon. Earl served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 during the Vietnam war, and was a member of the VFW Post 6,000 in Narrows, VA. He retired from Yokohama after over 30 years of services He is survived by his wife of 61 years Shirley Dillon along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jason Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in the Birchlawn Burial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm.
