Earldine Starkey Keezer
September 20, 1934 - February 4, 2023

We said goodbye to our mom and loving wife, Earldine S. Keezer, known as Dena to her friends, today at the age of eighty-eight. She died peacefully at home with her daughters by her side.
Born to John and Annice Starkey, Dena graduated from Franklin County High School and Merced College. She began her 28 years in the communications industry as a telephone operator in Roanoke, Virginia for Chesapeake Bell.
Preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Vincent Keezer, the two of them traveled the country with the Air Force and then the world as visitors.  Dena enjoyed going everywhere whether it was Alaska, Ireland or even Sam’s Club.
Dena leaves behind her loving daughters, Dawn Keezer and Robin Keezer Redwine, and her favorite sons-in-law, Cody Cluff and Leonard Redwine. Dena cherished her grandsons, Jeremy Redwine and Carter Cluff, the true lights of her life. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who she adored.
A lifelong sports fan, she loved the Washington Redskins, until switching her alliance to the Pittsburgh Steelers, after Dawn relocated to Pittsburgh. Her all-time favorite team to watch was whichever team her grandson Jeremy was on, most recently as the center for Penn State Beaver Men’s Basketball team.
Dena always loved music, especially when her grandson Carter played the violin, she was so happy that he learned to play the fiddle this past summer.
In her later years, Dena enjoyed the Game Show Network, never-ending episodes of Blue Bloods, and diligently completed the Bible Crossword puzzle every Sunday.
She loved visitors to her home, welcoming everyone with a smile and wanting to hear every detail about their lives.
