Eddie Ray Manley passed away January 19, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.
Eddie was born August 12, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA, a son of the late Herbert Manley and Beatrice Stewart Tresler where he became a “Cotton Hill” boy. Eddie was a retired truck driver for Quality Foods.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chris Manley.
Eddie is survived by one son, Jason Manley; one brother, David Manley; four grandchildren, Hannah Manley, Christina Marshall, Alexis Manley and Olivia Manley; five great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Rebecca S. “Becky” Jones, who he selflessly cared for with unwavering patience and compassion .
Per his wishes, the family will hold a celebration of Eddie’s life at a later date.
