Eddy James Compton

Eddy James Compton, 67, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday. October 17, 2024. He was born October 25, 1956, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Otis Compton and Penny “Brady” Compton.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Compton.Eddy was a dedicated employee of Kissel Brothers Amusement Parks, in Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked as a Foreman for more than forty years. He enjoyed learning about computers and broadcasting music. In his free time, you could find him on a fishing bank with his line cast, waiting for the next big catch. Eddy’s most treasured moments were those spent with family whom he dearly loved.He is survived by his sisters, Samantha Cline (Trey), and Robin Rigney.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
