Edgar "Bill" Martin

Edgar Welbon “Bill” Martin, 85, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born February 9, 1937 in Stokes County, North Carolina, to the late Harry Robert Martin and Gladys Shelton Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Craddock Martin; daughter, Nicole Lane Martin; and brothers, Aaron Martin and George Martin. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Elks Lodge. Bill is survived by his sisters, Lois A. Rigney (Darrell) and Rebecca “Becky” Hylton; grandchildren, Cameron Martin and Caleb Martin; and special friend “Bubbles”. The Graveside Service will be Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery with Apostle Marquis Hairston officiating. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the graveside.
