Edith Collyer Ferguson

Edith Collyer Ferguson, 88, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 23, 2023.  She was preceded by her husband, Melvin Jesse Ferguson, and siblings, Merrium Ferwerda, Ruth Schadward, Tommy, Carl, Timmy, Bobby and Charles Collyer.
Mrs. Ferguson proudly served her country in the U S Navy.

Surviving are her sons, Bruce (Terri) Ferguson and Stephen (Robin) Ferguson; grandchildren, Angela (Todd) Jones, Brian (Jenene) Ferguson, Stefan (Brigitte) Ferguson, Mitchell (Alexandria) Ferguson; great grandchildren, Seth, Connor, Parker, Hazel, Gracie, Bethany, and Ashton; and sisters, Nancy Carle and Joanie Gillis.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Dr. Darryl Crim.  Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
