Edward Dumont Ziringer

Mr. Edward Dumont Ziringer, Jr, of Fort Mill and formerly of Pittsburgh PA and Rocky Mount VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 80 years old. He served as a captain in the USAF during the Vietnam War before starting a thirty-year career in purchasing for corporations such as Westinghouse Electric. He has been a member of the Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill as well as St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rocky Mount, where he still returned often to enjoy its wild natural beauty.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ziringer; and daughter, Lori Flynn (Jamie, Will, and Dominic), both of Fort Mill; daughter, Susan Yonce (Tim, Cole, and Anna) of Charleston, SC; and David Ziringer (Mirka, Noah, Daphne, and Benjamin) of Stockholm, Sweden.

Mr. Ziringer will be remembered in a service at Saint Philip Neri on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. before being interred in his family cemetery in Rocky Mount on Saturday at a private service.
