Edwin Scott Bowling

Edwin Scott Bowling, 63, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 19, 2026. Scott was born on April 24, 1962 to the late Everlena Doss Bowling and the late Earl Edwin Bowling. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Selena Coleman Bowling.

Scott attended Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church. He worked for many years as a correction officer at Caswell Correctional Center.

In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by a special cousin; Ricky Bowling; a step son in law; Stevie Stevenson; two step grandchildren; Kyleigh Stevenson and Brynlee Stevenson; and his best friend/ dog; Todd

In addition to his parents, Scott was predeceased by a step daughter; Leigh Ann Stevenson.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 12:00pm at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 16300 Mt. Cross Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549, with Pastor Mike Hearp officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 6-7:00pm also at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
