Eleanor Ann Harville Pruitt

Eleanor Ann Harville Pruitt, 84, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at Chatham Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Pruitt was born April 23, 1940, to the late Hallie Tate Harville and Henry Harville. She was married to James Dewey Pruitt, who predeceased her in death.

Mrs. Pruitt was also predeceased by a son, Herford Franklin Bray, III, and a daughter, Allison Hinton.

Eleanor enjoyed cooking, being a waitress, and spending time with family and friends

She is survived by two sons, Rodney L Bray (Darlene) of Blairs, VA, and James Ray Marlow (Christy) of Chatham, VA; by two grandchildren, Christy Hawkins (Todd) of Danville, VA, and Rodney John Bray (Stephanie) of Dry Fork, VA. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren

The family will hold a Family Gathering to receive friends and family on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Tpke. Danville, Va.
