Elizabeth Ann Robinson Farley

Elizabeth Ann Robinson Farley, 75, passed away on August 12, 2025. Elizabeth was born on October 13, 1949 to the late Walter and Ann Robinson. She married the love of her life , Mr. John D. Farley, who also predeceased her, in July 1985.

Elizabeth was of the Christian Faith, and a member of Chatham Presbyterian Church. She worked for over 40 years as a Kindergarten Teacher in the Danville Public School System, before retiring from Park Avenue Elementary in Danville. She was also a member of The Chatham Garden Club.

Elizabeth is survived by her godchildren; Emily (Roger) Keaton and Christopher Irvin; her special close friends; Heide Irvin and Ann Ozmer; brother in law; Douglas Farley; Sisters-in-law; Carolyn Farley-Baer (Ed) and Margret Watson-Agar (Mike); Nephews: Shay Farley (Christy) and Mark Farley (Sarah); Nieces; Tiffany Capati (Rodney) and Leah Reed (Matt); three great nieces, four great nephews and one great-great niece.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by a sister in law; Shelly Farley.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Chatham Presbyterian Church, 128 North Main Street, Chatham, VA 24531.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00am at Chatham Presbyterian Church, 28 North Main Street, Chatham, VA 24531 with Minister Mikel Pugh officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA.
