Elizabeth Ann Scott Stilwell
Elizabeth Ann Scott Stilwell ascended to her eternal home on March 25, 2023 after fighting her battle with pancreatic cancer which she fought with courage, grace and style. Liz, as she was better known, was born the fourth daughter and the fifth child to the late Jona Albert Scott and Ada Gladys Hill Scott on November 6, 1953. Liz was a graduate of Patrick County High School and she attended Patrick Henry Community College. She was a member of Fort Trail Baptist Church. She retired from Henry County Public Schools. In addition to her parents, those that went to be with the Lord before her are, her brother, Melvin M. Scott; niece, Barbara M. Hubbard Collins; nephew, Rusty Collins; step-son, Andy Stilwell; and brother-in-law, Doug Stilwell. Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband of thirty plus years, Robbie Lee Stilwell; daughter, Kristin Ashley Cooper; step-son, Jimmy Stilwell; step-grandchildren, Matthew, William, Megan, Owen and Lawson Stilwell; sisters, Shirley Scott Cassell (Carl), Hazel Scott Massey (Clyde), Jane Scott McKaughn (Lowell); brother, Bill Scott (Lynn); sisters-in-law, Joyce Scott and Judy Stilwell. A Celebration of Life Service will be at Fort Trial Baptist Church on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Tony Beach officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
