Ella Mae Guthrie

Ella Mae Guthrie -   1 April 1940 – 7 March 2026

It was on the seventh of March 2026, when she rejoiced in heaven with her family members that arrived before her. Three of her children were there to greet her along with many familiar faces that were happy to be united once again.

Ella lived a life based on rural traditions of faith and family that was instilled by her parents, family, and friends in West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia. She loved her cats and enjoyed nature's beauty.

She is survived by her loving sister, Carole who was by her side through thick and thin. She leaves a son who carries her legacy with his children, nephew, and niece, with her memory being passed on for generations to come.

Rest easy Ella, you are home.

Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Virginia at a date to be determined.
