GWYN, Emma Lou (nee: Fowler). May 9, 2024. Age 94. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Delbert Gwyn for 63 years before his death in 2011. Loving mother of Jay, Danny (Cheryl), Larry (Julie), Angie (Reggie), Pam (Mike), the late Timothy, and the late Chris (Kathy). Proud and loving grandmother of Katherine, Michael, Terri, Danielle, Erika, Garrett, Adam, Emily, Jordan, Keith, Lanie, Jessie, Ed, the late Chris Jr. and the late Tony and great-grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Dominic, Damion, Dylan, Emma, Makayla, Mitchell, Cooper, Emily, Amelia, Oliver, Jackson, Lillie-Jean, Sawyer, and Leo. Dear sister of Clarion Calhoun and the late Agnes "Sue" White, Arlene Davis, Wendell Fowler, and Beatrice Anthony. Visitation Sunday 3-8pm. Funeral Monday 10am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Heights. Interment, Salem Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson, North Carolina. Visitation for Mrs. Gwyn will be Thursday, May 16, 2024,from 12:00-2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in The Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Jason Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
