ERNESTINE MURIEL SCOTT, of Clifton Forge, VA; beloved daughter of the late Ernest L. Scott and the late Fannie M. Scott. Loving sister of the late Marjorie Scott Grice, the late Helen Scott Johnson and the late Dr. Edmond Fountain Scott, III.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was a graduate of Simon Gratz High School. A loving Aunt of 9, Harold S. Johnson (Francine), Sterling I. Johnson (Catherine), Edward S. Grice (Antonia), Brenda J. Scott-Ingram (Michael), Edmond F. Scott, IV, Ernestine M. Scott-Diggs, Yolanda S. Scruggs (James), Ernest L. Scott, II, and Melanie Scott-Bowling (Shaun) and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Reverend Roslyn Thomas officiating, at The First Baptist Church, 918 Church Street, Clifton Forge, VA 24422. The family will visit with friends that Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service at First Baptist Church. Following the service, interment will take place in Red Hill Cemetery, 1400 Main Street, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
