Esther Mae Caudle

Esther Mae Bowman Caudle has completed her ambassadorship here and is loving her permanent citizenship in Heaven with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior who made all of this possible by His death on the cross and His resurrection many years ago. She is praying she will see you again there.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father (Esther Brown and Fergus Bowman, Jr.) and by her husband of 68 years, Bob R. Caudle, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Bob R Caudle, Jr. of Roanoke and Sterling A. Caudle of Irvington, VA; four grandchildren, Ryan, Sara, Bobby III, and Susie; two great granddaughters, Mira Ellise, and PercePhone Christelle; two cousins, Alex and Jimmy Bowman; niece, Karen Kessler and grandniece, Angel Simurina. Esther Mae has been very thankful, grateful, and blessed by her Heavenly Father, a loving family, and wonderful friends all of her life.

She loved participating in sports, making various craft projects, playing church bells, her employment working with the public most of her life, and various volunteer activities.

A memorial service will be held at Cave Spring Baptist Church, 4873 Brambleton Avenue, Roanoke on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the church.
