Evangela Flora Williams

Evangela Flora Williams, 65, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her residence. She was born February 26, 1958, in Martinsville, to the late James H. Hairston and Ethel Turner Hairston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother, Duwayne Turner.

She is survived by her daughter, Alison McClendon (Eric); sisters, Audrey Lloyd, Sandra Williams, and Ruth Patterson (George); brothers, James Turner, Gary Turner, Thomas Hairston, and Troy Hairston (Trina); and grandchildren, Avery Breedlove and Joseph Breedlove, III.

Evangela attended Refuge Temple Ministries. She held a Master in Business Administration degree from Averett University. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling, and building her pandora bracelets. She loved spending time with her church family.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Refuge Temple Ministries, 205 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, with Elder Alan Preston officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
