Evelyn Mcghee Dunman

Evelyn McGhee Dunman, age 81 of Rocky Mount passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Milton McGhee and Myrtle Young McGhee. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Carlton Mason; second husband, John Dunman; sister, Bonnie Woods; and brothers, Larry McGhee and Dick McGhee.Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed singing. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sarah Mullins (Paul); son, Bruce Mason (Jennifer); grandsons, Andrew Mason (Julia), Levi Mason, great-grandsons, Henry Mason, Cody Mason; sisters, Nancy Stanley, Barbara Lackey, Janet Cook, Faye Blankenship and Linda Ellett.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to assist with funeral expenses by calling 540-483-3835 or online by clicking this link.Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
