Faye Martin Pizzulo

Faye Martin Pizzulo, 79, passed away on September 16, 2024. Faye was born in Danville, VA on May 27, 1945 to the late Ruby Dalton Moorefield and the late George Dallas Moorefield. She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Dennis Pizzulo.

Faye was of the Christian Faith and was a member of Sandy Shores Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Sassy Lady’s Club. Faye worked for many years as a reimbursement field office director for the Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute, previous to her retirement.

Faye is survived by a son, David Martin and wife Lisa of Dry Fork, Virginia; one sister, Betty Jane Travis of Danville, Virginia; four grandchildren, Brian Hobson, Andrew Kirks (Jennifer), Aaron Martin, and Parker Martin; five great grandchildren, Easton Kirks, Lona Kirks, Malachi Kirks, one on the way, Elijah Hobson, and Hebecca Hobson; and one special niece, Kathy Nance (Mark).

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel, Danville, Virginia, with Pastor Eric Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at Norris West End Chapel.
