Faye T. Poe

Faye T. Poe, 87, of Richmond, VA, departed this life on Friday, June 30th, 2023, at Sunrise at Bon Air.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kat & Charles Rugar, her brother Leo Trail and sister Virgie Martin, as well as the blessing of many nieces and nephews.

Faye was born in Fincastle, VA on September 1st, 1935, as one of seventeen children. She graduated from Fincastle High School in 1953. She was married to Del D. Poe for 50 years until his death in 2018. Fay worked for C+O Railroad in Richmond until it merged with CSX in Baltimore, with whom she worked for 20 more years before retiring.

Faye loved family gatherings at her home in Chesterfield, and her special memories with her family were cherished all of her life.

A visitation for Faye will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113, followed by a visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
