Frances Chenault Walton

Frances Chenault Walton, age 94 of Danville, Virginia passed away February 25, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Walton was born July 15, 1930 in Schoolfield to the late Rose Etta Fain Chenault and the late Otis Walker Chenault. She was married to the late Earl C. Walton.

Mrs. Walton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked at Dan River Mills until her retirement. She will always be remembered as a kindhearted and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Walton and his wife Kathy, Michael Walton, and David Walton; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her nine siblings.

A graveside service to honor Mrs. Walton will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Geary Walton officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the graveside from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at Danville Memorial Gardens.
