Frances Edmonds Pilson

Mrs. Frances Edmonds Pilson, age 88 of Ridgeway, VA passed away on April 27, 2023. Mrs. Pilson was born on June 16, 1934 in Henry County, VA to the late Howard L. Edmonds and the late Ila Fulk Edmonds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Pilson Freeman, three brothers, Richard Edmonds, Ray Edmonds and Charles Edmonds. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bassett. She was retired from Bassett Furniture.Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her husband, Kenneth Elmer Pilson Sr., two daughters, Sandy P. McCray (John), Denise P. Belcher (Jerry), one son, Kenneth “Kenny” E. Pilson, Jr. (Charlotte), son-in-law, Jimmy Freeman, two sisters, Lucy Stone, Betty Leonard (Billy) one brother, Roy Edmonds, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Bassett with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM with Reverend Doug Ramsey officiating.A Private Burial will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 in Roselawn Burial Park.Family suggest memorial donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Bassett, 2590 Riverside Drive, Bassett, VA 24055.Online condolences at www.collinsmckeestonebassett.com Collins Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Pilson family
