Frances Hinson Morris

Frances Hinson Morris, 95, of Roanoke County went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Morris, Jr; and grandchildren, James Snell, David Snell, Christopher Snell and Jennifer Barber.

Frances is survived by her children, Brenda Snell, Randy Morris (Nancy), Teresa Hobbs, and Rebecca Barber (Mark); grandchildren, John (Alicia), Robert (Michelle), Adam (Susie), Heather (Mark), Justin (Tracy), Lisa (Robert), Daniel, Eric, Mark, Crystal (Dennis), Andrea (T.R.), and Greg (Ana); 20 great grandchildren; sister, Ann Semones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 4:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019 with Rev. Daniel Palmer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior, from 3:00 – 4:00pm. In liue of flowers the family encourages you to make a donation to a charity of your choice.
