Frances Mullins Priddy

Frances Mullins Priddy, age 80 of Martinsville, VA, quietly and peacefully went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Mrs. Priddy was born in Martinsville, VA on September 3, 1944 to Andrew Letcher Mullins and Bernice Arlene Young Mullins. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Nelson Wayne Priddy, a infant son, a grandson, Scout Custer; an infant great granddaughter, Keira Crawford and one brother, Roger Mullins. She attended Rich Acres Baptist Church in Martinsville. She was employed by Bassett Industries as a telephone operator until deciding to stay home with her children.

Mrs. Priddy is survived by three daughters, Jessica Rea (David) of Ridgeway, Renee Custer of Martinsville and Marianne Spencer (Justin) of Bassett, four grandchildren, Amber Cochran, Courtney Crawford (Jamie), Hailey Spencer and Jacob Spencer, four great grandchildren, Micah Pinnix, Cayden Cochran, Kiya Crawford, Khalyl Crawford, one sister, Betty DeShazo (Hassell), two brothers, Billy Mullins (Susan), Ricky Mullins and several special nieces.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, September 24, 2024 at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
