Frances Talley Rogers

Frances Talley Rogers, age 99, of Danville, VA passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at SOVAH Health, Danville, VA. Mrs. Rogers was born March 9, 1924, in Danville, to the late C. S. Yeatts and the late Pinkey Shelton Yeatts. She was predeceased by her husband of many years, Nathan Woodrow Talley.

Mrs. Rogers was of the Methodist faith, and she worked as a ward secretary for Danville Memorial Hospital for many years before her retirement.

She is survived by a son, Nathan Talley (Linda), two daughters, Teresa Scott, and Beverley Grime (Michael), as well as grandchildren, Adam Scott, Leslie Roberts (Keith), and Lindsey Ward (Joseph), and step-granddaughter, Stacy Grime. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Caroline Roberts, Lawson Roberts, Finnley Ward, and Tate Ward.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Rogers was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Faye Adkins, and her second husband Walter Rogers.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Danville, VA, officiated by Rev. Richard Motley.
