Frances Willard Cassell

Frances Willard Cassell, 76, passed away on June 20, 2024, at her home. She was born May 16, 1948, to the late Arthur George Willard and Elizabeth Cobbler Willard. In addition to her family Frances was predeceased by her brothers, Tommy Willard, Lee Willard and Kenneth Willard.

She retired after many dedicated years as a supervisor at Ronile, Inc. in Rocky Mount, Virginia. In her retirement, her natural inclination for caregiving led her to spend much of her time volunteering, selflessly tending to those in need.

She is survived by her son, Michael Spencer (Christy); grand-children, Layla Spencer, Ani Spencer, and Sky Spencer; brothers, Junior Willard, Roy Willard, Ed Willard (Judy), Calvin Willard (Bonnie), James Willard, and Charlie Willard (Patricia); and sisters, Mary Jones and Shirley Parker (Greg).

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Joe Wooldridge will be officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park.
